JUNIOR SCHOOL FUNDRAISING TOTAL FOR LEPRA

11 October 2017

On 13th September, Jo from Lepra came to speak to the Junior School about the work of the international charity who look after and treat children and adults with leprosy. The children were challenged to fundraise with the help of their families.
As a reward for their efforts, two weeks later, the whole of the Junior School took part in a Lepra Zumba workout. This was huge fun and enjoyed by pupils and staff alike.
On Wednesday 11th October Jo returned to announce the amount the children had raised. We were all delighted and amazed to hear that the magnificent total of £2174
Jo told the children that they had raised enough money to help Lepra cure another 87 children and adults.
This was a wonderful effort and the children can be rightly proud of their efforts.
