JUNIOR SCHOOL ZUMBA WORKOUT

27 September 2017

A representative from the international charity Lepra came to Reddam House to give a talk to the Junior School about poverty, fighting disease, and prejudice. In particular, Jo explained how the charity look after and treat, children and adults with lepsosy. The children were asked to fundraise with the help of their families in order to help make a difference to people in the regions of greatest need like India, Bangladesh and Mozambique, helping them to improve their health and lives.

As a reward for their amazing efforts, the entire Junior School and their form teachers took part in a fantastic Zumba workshop which all the staff and children agreed was huge fun.

On 11th October we will have a thank you Assembly when Jo, the Lepra representative, will let us know how much we have raised. Meanwhile I would like to say thank you to all the children and their families for the tremendous effort made.
