REDDAM HOUSE COMBINED CADET FORCE VISIT TO THE ROYAL MILITARY ACADEMY SANDHURST

18 June 2017

On Sunday 18 June 2017 five senior cadets from the Reddam House Berkshire Combined Cadet Force were invited by the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) to attend the annual Heritage Day celebrations at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). Our cadets ran a tombola stall which raised over £700 for the charity. Additionally our cadets were given a personal tour of the Royal Military Academy by Colonel (retired) Peter Watson who shared some of his experiences from when he was a serving officer cadet.

The ABF is a charity established in 1944 and was specifically set up to provide a lifetime of support to soldiers and former soldiers from the British Army, and their immediate families, when they are in need. The charity has been working with veterans of every conflict, and will continue to do so for the ‘long haul’ – supporting all future generations of our soldiers and their dependents.
